Maria Sanchez has lived on the corner of Scott and 6th street for 20 years. Now, shattered glass and yellow tape cover her street.
“When I got here, to my house, I saw the police, I saw the accident. It was bad,” said Sanchez.
Sankyta Smith takes the bus nearby every morning. He says he just wants better for the neighborhood.
“It sucks. It’s disgusting,” said Smith. “People shooting and killing people. Come on now. This just doesn't make any sense."
Milwaukee police say charges were referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
