MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Mothers returning to the workforce after childbirth face significant challenges. Dr. Kristie Rogers, associate professor of management at Marquette University, discussed these issues when she joined us on Monday, Sept. 30.
Rogers researches respect and identity at work, focusing on how workers navigate stigma, disrespect and complex tensions. She addresses topics such as pay equity and the tendency for women to undertake more non-promotable tasks than men, as well as the backlash they face when they do not.
