Children's Wisconsin opens new walk-in clinic on Milwaukee's north side

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A new Children's Wisconsin clinic opened on Milwaukee's north side Monday, May 12, replacing and expanding Good Hope Pediatrics.

Providers and services at Good Hope Pediatrics have transitioned to the new location, less than a half mile away, at 7201 W. Good Hope Road, which the health care system says is triple the size of the previous building.

The new Children's Wisconsin Good Hope Clinic offers all-day urgent care, primary care, and imaging services, serving an area with the second-largest pediatric population in Milwaukee.

Children's Wisconsin says this will provide families on the city's north side a walk-in care option for less serious illnesses and injuries normally cared for in a primary care setting.

“This Good Hope Clinic and its expanded services allow the team at Children’s Wisconsin to provide more of the needed care when and where it can be most impactful,” said Michael Gutzeit, MD, president of primary care at Children’s Wisconsin. “We are dedicated to expanding pediatric care and providing pediatric specialists to the northside and helping families have options close to home.”
