Children's Wisconsin raises $308 million in largest fundraising campaign in its history
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Children's Wisconsin announced Thursday, Feb. 26 that it has completed its Brighter Than Ever campaign, raising $308 million and exceeding its goal by $8 million.
The campaign launched in 2020 and wrapped up Dec. 31, 2025. More than 70,000 members of the community contributed, with donations coming from all 50 states and 22 countries, according to the announcement. More than 45,000 of those gifts came from first-time donors.
Funds have supported expanded mental and behavioral health services, upgrades to the Milwaukee hospital's neonatal intensive care unit, growth in Northeast Wisconsin including new clinics in Appleton and Ashwaubenon, plus community programs like Project Ujima, a hospital-based violence prevention program.
"I am thankful for everybody who invests in our mission," said Gil Peri, president and CEO of Children's Wisconsin.
