Afternoon Update:
The National Weather Service has added Dodge, Jefferson and Walworth County to the Wind Chill Advisory early Saturday morning. Wind Chill in these counties will hover around -25°
The last day of the work week started with plenty of spin outs thanks to this little bit of fluffy snow!
We're done with snow for today and get a break from any precip for a few days, but the below zero wind chills have returned. It'll feel like -20° both Saturday and Sunday mornings, but wind chills both afternoons should rise above zero for a few hours. Unfortunately, the wind remains blustery all weekend.
Temps finally warm back above freezing on Monday with highs above freezing likely throughout next week.
Once this arctic air gets out of here this weekend, there aren't signs that it'll return soon. The 8 to 14 day temperature outlook that takes us to the first day of February continues to favor above normal temps.
With warmer temps moving back in, most precip events coming up will feature a mixture of rain and snow. The first of those arrives Monday into Tuesday. Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather App to see the full 7 day forecast.
