Comfy start to the weekend with humidity returning for Father's Day

Temperatures have been hot the last two days with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s. Thursday was also a very humid day with dew points reaching the upper 60s. The heat and humidity will take a back seat as we start the new weekend. Highs on Friday and Saturday stay in the middle 70s which is close to average this time of year. But then the heat returns with upper 80s and 90s on the way for the start of next week.

Dew points and humidity levels will follow suit with comfy dew points Friday and Saturday in the middle 50s but the humidity rolls in for Father's Day with dew points reaching the upper 60s and this time it stays with us through most of next week.

Both Friday and most of Saturday look dry but a few rain showers are possible Saturday evening. The best chance looks to be in our northern counties and even there, fairly isolated.

The better chance for rain for everyone looks to be Sunday morning with a round of showers and storms arriving in the morning. So if you are planning something to do for Father's Day weekend Saturday is the better day to be outside but Sunday afternoon will be a great time to hit the pool!
