David Seebach brings magic and supernatural storytelling to life with 'Illusions in the Night'

ELM GROVE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- For more than 30 years, David Seebach, a local magician, has been combining his supernatural storytelling with his magic for a Halloween show. Illusions in the Night is a variety of traditional magic tricks on stage.
So, when the chill of October hits, he brings out the dangerous.
"If there’s a magic act that maybe has a danger element…ooh, that would be Halloween. We are bringing back an illusion that we have never done here before. It comes from the very late 1960s. It’s called the zig-zag lady and, as the name implies, there’s a woman on stage, she gets zig-zagged."
From missing limbs to disappearing acts, Seebach says even after decades of creating this show, the audience never ceases to amaze him with their excitement and screams.
There are four shows running this Friday through Sunday. Limited tickets are still available at the Sunset Playhouse box office.
