Update as of 1 PM Saturday, July 18th...

A few new advisories to pass along. A new Air Quality Alert is in effect until noon Monday. The poorest of air quality looks to be late Saturday through at least the first part of Sunday. Also, a Small Craft Advisory is in place Saturday evening into Sunday morning. This goes with a Dense Smoke Advisory on the water until noon Monday. The smoke and fog will reduce visibility. Please use extreme caution the rest of the weekend if you're boating on Lake Michigan in particular.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--The window to see less smoke is closing. Expect more of it to return later Saturday afternoon through much of Sunday. There's a small chance of showers and storms for the first part of Saturday. But look for a better opportunity on Monday. The chance for severe weather is there too. Most of next week should be quiet with less smoke too. The rain and storm chance will increase by next weekend too. Highs most of next week will be in the 70s and 80s. Lows in the 60s and 70s. No more 90s for a while.
