'Discover Wellness' returns to Alice's Garden in Milwaukee, includes screening of 'The Little Mermaid'

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Diverse groups across Milwaukee County are hosting the second annual "Discover Wellness" event at Alice's Garden.

Activities and resources focused on health and wellness will be available to the public on Friday, Sept. 22. The event runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and covers the eight dimensions of wellness including emotional, physical, occupational, intellectual, financial, social, environmental and spiritual well-being.

Highlights include free healthy snacks from Neu-Life Community Development's Farmfork program, wellness activities, raffles and yoga sessions.

Following the wellness activities, a free screening of the live-action film "The Little Mermaid" will begin at sunset, around 7 p.m., as part of Friends of Johnsons Park's Family Movie Night. The event is open to all and more information can be found by clicking here.
