Downed trees, power lines dot the landscape in Williams Bay

CBS 58

WILLIAMS BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A brief pass around Williams Bay in Walworth County reveals the power of an EF1 tornado.

The storm, packing winds more than a hundred miles an hour, brought down numerous trees and power lines Saturday evening, June 22, in certain areas, including stretches of Theater Road and George Williams College.

There were no reports of injuries but unfortunately lots of damage sustained. Remember to stay at least 25 feet away from power lines, and assume they're live. If there's any doubt, make sure to call your local utility company.
