MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Downtown Dining Week is back, and businesses are excited to share specially priced menus.
At Doc's Smokehouse on 754 N. Vel R. Phillips Ave., owner Brent Brashier loves sharing his southern cooking with Milwaukee, and this week lets him reach even more barbeque lovers.
"This is an opportunity for us to give great value to the guests and get people that maybe have never been in before," he said.
Whether it is some barbeque at Doc's, German food at local favorite Mader's, or gazpacho at Stella Van Buren in the Westin Hotel, there are options for every tastebud at the over 30 participating restaurants.
Restaurants will offer lunch menus that cost either $15 or $25 and dinner menus at $35, $45, or $55, with multiple courses meant to expand your culinary viewpoint.
"The biggest thing that people should get from this is that there are great deals. You could spend 40% less than you normally would and come down and get some really cool food and try some new things," Brashier said.
Downtown Dining Week runs until Thursday, June 8. Diners are encouraged to share their experience at each restaurant by completing a Downtown Dining Week survey online. Four diners will be randomly drawn and win dining gift cards.
For more information on participating restaurants' menus and parking options, visit Milwaukee Downtown's website.
