'Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over' campaign takes off across Wisconsin

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Starting Friday, you'll see more law enforcement officers on our streets.

The "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" holiday campaign runs through January 1.

The campaign is a way to discourage people from driving impaired.

Law enforcement agencies across the state will have more patrol cars out and work longer hours during the campaign.

160 people died in alcohol-related crashes last year, and more than 3,000 people were hurt.

The Wisconsin DOT uses federal funds to support the efforts.
