Early morning double shooting on Teutonia under investigation by MPD

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are currently seeking information following a reported double shooting that took place in the early hours of Friday, Nov. 24.

The shooting occurred on N. Teutonia Ave. near Capitol, shortly after 1:30 a.m. Two individuals sustained gunshot wounds. A 48-year-old victim arrived at a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Simultaneously, a 43-year-old received treatment for non-fatal injuries at another local hospital.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation, though early findings suggest the incident stemmed from a verbal argument preceding the shooting. At this stage, MPD is actively seeking an unknown suspect related to this case.
