Early morning shooting leaves 1 dead near 42nd and Thurston

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place near 42nd and Thurston around 3:25 a.m. June 25.

Officials say the victim, who is reported to be approximately 40 years old, sustained gunshot injuries. Despite life saving measures being performed, the victim died at the scene. 

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation and Milwaukee police continue to seek unknown suspect(s).
