Update as of 9:35 a.m. on Sunday, September 22nd...

Unfortunately, because of poor weather conditions, the Susan G. Komen "More Than Pink Walk" had to be canceled.  At least the heaviest of rain has stopped.  But the steadiness of it will continue into the afternoon before tapering off.  By the way if you find it in yourself to make a donation to help the cause, feel free to do so.  Just click here.  Dollars raised will go toward breast cancer research.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--A sharp cold front is bringing us a few things just in time for fall.  Much cooler weather along with rainfall we really need.  Look for highs on Sunday either side of 70 degrees.  Precipitation totals could be more than a half an inch depending on if you get caught under a storm or not.  The deficit is two inches for the month, so we'll take anything we can get.

There's also a Beach Hazards Statement in place from Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon for high wind and waves.  Stay off Lake Michigan.  The weather should improve deeper into Sunday afternoon.  There's also another chance of showers on Tuesday, especially in the morning, with another low pressure system to the south of us. Otherwise, the weather should be quiet most of the week. Highs will get milder by the end of the week with temps in the mid 70s at least.
