Hit-and-run crash: 1 person killed, 34-year-old suspect arrested

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police say a 34-year-old has been arrested following a fatal hit-and-run that killed one person and injured another.

Police say the incident happened when the victims were walking across the street at 76th and Good Hope Rd., shortly before midnight on Saturday, Sept. 22nd. 

Both victims, ages 20 and 23, were struck by a vehicle traveling northbound. With the 20-year-old sustaining fatal injuries. 

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim who died as Talise Dunmore. 

The 23-year-old was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive. 

The suspect fled the scene but was later located and arrested. Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
