MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal two-car crash on the city's north side late Sunday night, Oct. 10. 

According to police, around 10:30 p.m., a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed struck another vehicle as it was pulling out from a parked position near N.27th St. and W. Burleigh St. 

The victim, a 71-year-old Milwaukee man, died from his injuries. The striking driver, a 30-year-old Milwaukee man, was transported to a local hospital for non-fatal injuries and later arrested. 

Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days.
