Few spotty showers possible south of I-94 today

Many of us are waking up to cloud cover this morning, but folks in Sheboygan and Fond du Lac counties are seeing sunshine! Northeasterly winds are already starting to ramp up, and they'll be the reason many of us stay dry today. The NE wind will continue to pull dry air into the region as a high pressure system sits to our north and to our west. This will keep the low pressure system pretty much locked in place in west central Illinois today.

The position of the low is farther south than earlier though, so most of the rain will stay to our south today. However, a few light showers will probably sneak over the WI/IL border from time to time today. Folks north of I-94 likely won't see any rain today.

This is great news for anyone planning on going to the Deer District! While we can't rule out an isolated shower, most of the evening should be dry with temps falling into the 60s. The wind off the lake will be noticeable around 15 mph.

As this low pressure system slowly moves away Monday and early Tuesday, we'll still have a slight chance of a shower or storm, but those days are beginning to trend drier as well.

Stay tuned for updates!
