Health expert weighs in on wildfire smoke and your health
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--It's enough! I'm sure we've all had it with this very active weather pattern. Well, some good news. We get to dry off and calm down for a while. In fact, I don't see a chance for storms again until this coming Friday. This is the best news for all the swollen rivers. Plus we're more than a half a foot above normal with precipitation for the month and year so far. Of course, a quiet forecast is great for all the cleanup efforts taking place in our area. Look for highs this coming week mainly in the 50s and 60s with lows in the 30s, 40s, and some 50s.
Definitely feeling the chill on Saturday...
More fluctuations coming...
As of early Saturday. Most rivers expected to drop below flood stage by the middle of next week. Major flooding on the Fox River in New Munster. It's moderate flooding in Waukesha.
The state tornado count for the season was at 10 as of Friday afternoon. I expect this number to go up as the NWS assesses the storms from Friday.
