MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--A big surge of milder air is starting to come our way. As we make this transition, some wintry mix is possible into Sunday evening, featuring a mixed bag of weather conditions including freezing rain and sleet along with snow. No major accumulation is possible, but I am concerned with slick spots into Monday morning. The bulk of the precip should exit into the overnight, but we could be left with some freezing fog and drizzle. Please drive carefully. Then we wait for a few rain chances Tuesday and into Friday. Then, with colder air, look for a changeover to more snowy conditions by Saturday. It doesn't look like a big storm as it stands now. Highs for the first part of the week will in the 30s and 40s (after one last day in the 20s on Sunday). We turn more seasonable into next weekend. One more positive note to finish this blog. Sunsets are now at 4:30 PM!!! Look for 5 PM sunsets by the end of January.
