Get a clue: The Brown Deer Medallion Hunt is back for a third year. Here's what we know
CBS 58 BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The prize is bigger than ever this year for the person who finds the hidden medallion. It's a skull shaped piece of clay decorated with colorful flowers and it was created by a local artist.
Cafe Corazon is putting up the $2,500 prize for the person who finds it. Twice a week, a new clue is released by the Journal-Sentinel and the Village of Brown Deer.
Here is the first clue:
Hey Milwaukee! I’m back for year three. Get off the couch and go outside to find me. I liked my hiding spots at Village Park and the Oak Leaf Trail, But this year’s location will force you to fail. Wow, look at all the redevelopment in this town. Retail is making a comeback here – I am so down. But you’ve got to know this one thing. Just look for a playground where kids can shout and sing.”
The next clue comes out Friday, May 15. Village Manager Tyler Burkart shared one line from it just for CBS 58 Viewers:
“Take a bike for a spin.”
The winner will also get a taco buffet with family and the previous winners at the Cafe Corazon in Brown Deer.
