MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Bring the polka and bring the noise! Polish Fest is back in Milwaukee this weekend, June 9-11. The three-day event showcases the arts, culture and tradition that is uniquely Polish.

Organizers are expecting more than 30,000 people to come out and celebrate.

This is the first ethnic festival of the summer season.

Throughout its three-day run, people can hear traditional Polish music and see traditional Polish dancing. Music will be played on all five stages on the Henry Maier Festival Park grounds.

There will also be plenty to feast on, from kielbasa to pierogi, you will not go hungry.

Organizers say it's the perfect way to experience a bit of the Polish culture.

"There's nothing better than seeing people enjoying themselves at the festival, dancing to the music listening to the music watching the fabulous dance groups, they are just crowded at a stage, and they are all smiling and having fun," said Janine Adamczyk, entertainment chairperson for Polish Fest.

At the end of Saturday activities, Polish Fest attendees can expect to see the night sky light up with a fireworks show.
