Green Alert issued for missing Manitowoc veteran considered to be at risk

MANITOWOC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Department of Justice has issued a Green Alert for Jason Neumann, a 43-year-old veteran missing from Manitowoc. Authorities consider him at risk.

Neumann was reportedly last seen Monday, Nov. 18.

He is described as a white man, standing 5'8" inches tall, weighing 220 pounds, with blondish hair styled shorter on the sides and longer on top, parted on the side and blue eyes. He has an Army Airborne symbol tattooed on one of his upper arms.

His 2019 blue Toyota 4Runner SUV was found Tuesday, Nov. 19 in shallow water in Lake Michigan near the Village of Cleveland. The vehicle was in drive when recovered, but Neumann was not located.
