Shannon was shot and killed by police after he ran from a traffic stop earlier in January.
Protestors say they want justice for Shannon.
"How is someone hunted down and murdered in the streets for a traffic infraction? In response to that, we want answers," says protest organizer Corey Price.
Officers say Donte Shannon showed a gun before he was shot. The two officers who shot him are on administrative leave. The state Department of Justice is investigating the shooting.
