MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Summerfest is not only a festival where names that adorn the Billboard Hot 100 chart perform, as there are also local talents who take part in sharing their artistic gifts with the community at the Big Gig.
Whitney Rose, a singer and songwriter from Hartford, offered a preview of her performance at Summerfest when she joined us in-studio on Thursday, June 29.
Rose, who has been involved in music since the age of 16, described her journey through personal loss and rediscovering her passion for music. She shared her experiences in the Milwaukee music community and her process of creating her debut album.
She will perform at Summerfest on Thursday, taking the stage at the Second Floor Local Artist Stage from 1 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. Additionally, she will perform at Kate’s Place, a bar in West Bend, on Thursday, July 13 from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
