WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Fall festivities kick into high gear this weekend in Southeast Wisconsin.

The Harvest Fair returns Wisconsin State Fair Park Friday through Sunday.

Admission to the event is free and features live entertainment and activities for the entire family. Harvest Fair favorites like pumpkin bowling, amusement rides, pony rides, and Make Your Own Scarecrow will be back this year. The Giant Slide will also be open to fairgoers.  

New this year, people will need to purchase credits that will be loaded onto a card in order to participate in activities. Credits can be purchased at Ride & Activity Credit Booths located throughout Harvest Fair. Credits cost $1 each and the number of credits required per activity is posted at each location. Credits can be used the entire run of Harvest Fair (Friday – Sunday).

Many State Fair food and beverage vendors will be open during Harvest Fair. Families can also enjoy the All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast benefiting the West Allis Lions Club until 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Prices are $8 for adults ages 13 and older and $5 for youth ages 6-12. Children 5 and under are FREE with the purchase of an adult breakfast. Food and beverages, as well as the Farmers Market, Pumpkin Patch, and Harvest Shopping, require cash.


Harvest Fair will take place from 5:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. on Friday, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
