WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Humane Animal Welfare Society in Waukesha will receive more dogs from South Korea that were rescued from the meat industry. HAWS is working with the Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society International as partners to re-home the dogs.
The dogs are expected to arrive at HAWS on Monday, December 4. They are expecting ten dogs.
HAWS received five dogs back in July that were saved from South Korea. This is 10th dog meat farm that the Humane Societies have been able to close.
