Help clean up the earth on Saturday & possibly be part of a world record

MKE Riverkeeper

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--If you didn't have a chance to help out on Earth Day this past Wednesday, you have another chance Saturday to really make a difference. It's time for the 31st annual Milwaukee Riverkeeper Spring Clearnup.

Grab your gloves, rally your friends, and join us for a morning of community action. Join together with 4,000 volunteers across three rivers and many communities as folks collectively remove more than 100,000 pounds of trash in hours!

This isn’t just a cleanup, it’s become an annual tradition! A celebration of teamwork, connection, and the power of community action. Whether you’re a seasoned environmental advocate or a first-time volunteer, we’ll work together, side by side and stream by stream to restore our precious waterways.

Afterward, there' s a community party at the Harley-Davidson Museum, from 12 – 3 PM, for a zero-waste Earth Day Celebration with Rock the Green! Cleanup participants 21 and over will receive a complimentary beverage, courtesy of Molson Coors.
