MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) - The Milwaukee Bucks announced on March 4 the return of Hoop It Up, a 3x3 basketball tour, to Deer District Aug. 15-17.

The three-day event, which will be held on the plaza outside Fiserv Forum, will be available for any player ages eight and older. There will be three divisions: youth, adult and Pro-Am teams.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Hoop It Up back to Deer District for the second straight summer,” said Michael Belot, Bucks senior vice president of business operations and chief real estate development officer. “Hoop It Up provides a fun-filled weekend for people of all ages to enjoy an exciting, outdoor basketball event.”

Last year’s event was the first Milwaukee had seen since 2012 and had more than 100 teams that participated.

The registration deadline is Aug. 13 at 5 p.m., and there is a $200 registration fee for each team that registers.
