The warm front lifted through SE WI this afternoon with temperatures jumping into the upper 80s to low 90s after it passed.
This hot and humid weather isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Monday will be the hottest day of the week with highs in the low to mid 90s area-wide.
Highs remain in the upper 80s to low 90s Tuesday and Wednesday before slipping back into the mid 80s Thursday and Friday.
Factor in the humidity and it'll feel like the mid to upper 90s for the first half of the week. Dew points will primarily be in the mid to upper 60s all week, which is fairly sticky. We may have a brief break in the super humid weather for a period of time Thursday, but it'll be short lived as a stalled front lifts back to the north.
With the heat and humidity around, we can't rule out a pop up afternoon storm early in the week, but there won't be much forcing to get storms going. Once a front slides in from the north on Wednesday and stalls out on Thursday, we'll have a better chance at scattered storms. Any storms that pop this week will have the potential to be strong to severe.
