The downpours that popped along the lake breeze this afternoon have been spotty, but extremely efficient rain producers! Storms were producing up to 2"/hr rainfall rates at times. Here are a few reports.
Showers and storms are pushing west and will exit SE WI by 7pm at the latest as slightly drier are pushes in on a northeast wind. Dew points, which have been in the mid to upper 60s all day today, will drop into the lower 60s tonight through Monday afternoon. Enjoy this short break from sticky humidity because it'll be back in full force Tuesday and Wednesday.
The best chance for any pop up showers and storms Monday afternoon will be near Madison and westward, but scattered storms return to all of southeast Wisconsin Tuesday afternoon to early evening.
A few isolated showers can't be ruled out Wednesday afternoon, but beyond that the week will be dry. Temps will generally be in the 70s most of the work week outside of Tuesday, but the heat looks to build back in next weekend under a dome of high pressure.
