FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) --The Hunger Task Force Farm is more than a place to grow food: it's also considered a lifeline to and for the community.
Spanning 208 acres in Franklin, it's a unique source of a half million pounds of fresh fruits and veggies grown annually, providing welcomed nutrients to food banks across the area.
Crop rotation, drip irrigation and beekeeping are just a few of the sustainable practices allowing the site to grow a bountiful yield year after year.
