Illinois man arrested after allegedly arming himself with baseball bat during fight at youth sports event in Franklin
CBS 58 FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Franklin officers arrested a 36-year-old Illinois man after a man armed himself with a baseball bat at a youth sporting event.
According to police, authorities responded to the Midwest Orthopedic Performance Center along S. Ballpark Dr. after several 911 calls reporting shots fired at a youth sports event.
When officers arrived, they learned that a fight broke out amongst the attendees but no evidence of gun fire.
A 36-year-old Illinois man was arrested on charges of recklessly endangering safety after he armed himself with a baseball bat during the fight.
One person was treated and released on scene for injuries of non-life-threatening injuries.
