PLEASANT PRAIRE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An Illinois man is pleading not guilty after allegedly carjacking his girlfriend and running from the cops in Pleasant Prairie.
This played out last Wednesday, Feb. 11.
The high-speed chase finally stopped thanks to a spike strip.
Once he got out of the car, he cooperated with officers, even asking if he can keep smoking his marijuana while being arrested.
The driver, 25-year-old Deavon Fonder, is being held on a $50,000 bond.
He's also wanted in Illinois on a long list of charges.
He's due back in Kenosha County court in April.
