A few rounds of rain and storms rolled through on Sunday. On this Memorial Day some areas could stay dry but there is also an isolated shower/storm chance.
The majority of the morning will be dry but the remains wet so keep that in mind for your picnics or parade blankets. A little drizzle is out there this morning so something with a jacket or hood is best. The slightly better chance for an isolated shower or storm will be during the afternoon and evening.
Tuesday's rain chance looks better with more coverage area under scattered showers and storms. Once again the morning hours are fairly dry with most of the rain rolling in during the second half of the day.
Rain totals over the next 48 hours will be fairly sporadic but most communities can expect 0.25-0.75" of rain by Tuesday night. Lower totals are possible for those that only get a passing shower and higher totals where we see more storms.
The strong to severe storm potential for Monday and Tuesday is almost zero. A sliver of SW Wisconsin is under a Level 1 Marginal Risk for severe weather Monday but there are no risks locally in SE Wisconsin. There is currently no severe risk for any part of the Midwest for Tuesday.
