WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS58) -- A woman was set on fire while walking her dogs in Waukesha Wednesday morning, Sept. 2. It happened near the 400 block of Lake Street. Investigators say a 39-year-old man attacked Amber Fuller and it was unprovoked. Fuller was taken to a local burn center for treatment.
“It’s the most unbelievable thing I’ve heard,” Paul Ralston said. He is Fuller’s boss. Fuller is a massage therapist at One Source Wellness and Chiropractic in Brookfield. She has been an employee there for four years. He feels it will take a toll on her clients and other employees.
“It’s like losing a key part of your team, you just can’t replace someone like Amber.”
Ralston has been in contact with Amber. He tells CBS 58 that she says she has second and third degree burns.
“Anyone that has found out has been extremely open. What can I do? Can I help in any way,” Ralston said.
Ralston says he expects Fuller’s medical bills to increase. He continues to say that Fuller will always have a job to come back to after her recovery.
“We’re going to do everything we can do financially, emotionally, whatever support we can give,” Ralston said.
There is a donation box near the front desk for Fuller at One Source Wellness and Chiropractic. Anyone can send money or cards.
Amber’s sister also set up a GOFUNDME page, you can click on the link for more information.
