MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee summer tradition is getting event bigger this year.
"Jazz in the Park" returns, bring live music to the east side but there's a new addition this year.
Thursday's, June 4, festivities will start even earlier this year with the launch of the Cathedral Square Market at 3 p.m. every Thursday!
One vendor CBS 58 spoke to says he's excited to see the two events combined.
He says that means more foot traffic for the vendors and hopefully more business.
"I think it's awesome," said vendor Stephen Seefeldt. "I think it's going to be a real positive spin for Milwaukee, especially during the week, and Jazz in the Park, man, it's historic. It's legendary."
The farmer's market begins at 3 p.m. while Jazz in the Park begins at 6 p.m. Both ends at 9 p.m. every Thursday.
