JD Vance to make stop in Kenosha Tuesday

CBS 58

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Republican vice presidential nominee, Sen. JD Vance, will be in Kenosha on Tuesday, Aug. 20.

Vance will be joined by U.S. Senate nominee Eric Hovde, Rep. Bryan Steil, and Kenosha County Sheriff David Zoerner during a press conference on crime and safety.

The visit comes as Vice President Kamala Harris and Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz are planning a stop in Milwaukee the same day.

They'll hold a campaign rally at Fiserv Forum, just over a month after the venue hosted the Republican National Convention (RNC).
