June ends wet and warm as we look ahead to the warmest month of the year

Anyone else feel like June flew bye? July is already here! The month of June was below average on rainfall going into the last few days of the month but then a soaking rain Friday into Saturday morning pushed the month slightly above average with a total of 4.71" which is the 35th wettest June on record on Milwaukee and well above June, 2023.
In addition to being wet, June was also warm with an average temperature of 70.4 degrees during the month which was 2.8* above average and goes down as the eighth warmest June on record. The warmest temps of the month came right in the middle when we had back-to-back days hitting 94. The coldest temp was June 11th with a low of 47.
The month of July is typically the warmest month of the year as the average high barely moves from 81 to 82. The average lows go from the low 60s to mid 60s. July doesn't typically see more rain than June with average rainfall of 3.40".
