Quiet weather through Memorial Day before midweek rain is expected
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Only in the 40s on Saturday at least lakeside. It was warmer inland. And this scenario will play out into much of next week. But at least temperatures are on the up and up, slowly and methodically. Weather should stay quiet through much of Sunday. The chance of showers will increase by Sunday night and linger into the morning rush on Monday. Nothing heavy though. Perhaps a tenth of an inch or so. This is in response to low pressure to the south of us "retrograding" in our direction. Then we start to dry out into Monday afternoon. Monday is Cinco de Mayo, by the way. Look for a warming trend as soon as Tuesday as well. Perhaps close to 70 by Mother's Day in about a week.
