MEQUON, Wis. (CBS 58) --This week, so many of us will be in the kitchen preparing and making Thanksgiving meals. Why not have your kiddos help, even the younger ones? From time to time, there's a workshop geared to getting the confidence up for preschool kids when it comes to food preparation. Organizers of "Kids in The Kitchen" out of Mequon say it's all about getting your children comfortable in their setting and have a real impact on what they're eating. This way they'll probably appreciate it more.

The "Kids in The Kitchen" program, put on by More Happy Kitchens, has youngsters ages 4 and 5 in mind with its events. An adult is required to be on hand during the workshop. There are also sessions geared toward older children.  To see the upcoming classes, just go here.

The kids even sang to me.  Made me proud.
