Fox Valley Technical College APPLETON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Fox Valley Technical College says a kitten is settling into a new home after an unusual rescue on Monday, Sept. 29.
An employee reported hearing meows coming from under the hood of a car after a long drive to the Appleton campus. The kitten was reportedly tough to catch, jumping into a second car before campus security stepped in.
The second vehicle belonged to Baking and Pastry Management student Bryn Fuchs. School officials say Fuchs adopted the kitten immediately, naming her Pumpernickel.
