MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The victim of a deadly stabbing Monday has been identified as 18-year-old Jaquveon Wright of Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's report says he was pronounced dead just before 3 p.m.

Police say Wright was stabbed near S. 22nd and National during an argument. Investigators arrested a 19-year-old woman.

Neighbors we spoke with say they're worried about their own safety and the safety of their family members. 

"All I know is I definitely gotta be on the watch-out for my family," said neighbor Nykia Thompson. "And now that I know that is someone over there that have that type of issue and they're willing to actually snap out and do things like that, I just gotta watch out for my family and hope and pray for other families do not end up in that situation."

Milwaukee police say criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County DA's office in the coming days. 


MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating the homicide of an 18-year-old on the city's south side Monday, Sept. 29.

Officials responded to the scene around 2:20 p.m. 

Police say the suspect, a 19-year-old woman, fatally stabbed the victim during an argument and was arrested. 

Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
