MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee skate enthusiasts are gearing up to roll into the city's first annual "Skatefest," taking place Saturday, Aug. 19 in Red Arrow Park.
The fest is designed to celebrate the culture of Black roller skaters and the entire skating community.
The event is all thanks to Terrance Clarke, who is the president of Roll Train.
CBS 58's Bryant McCray joined Clarke ahead of Skatefest, to tell us more about the event.
