MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The 2024 travel season in Milwaukee has hit a springtime milestone, as the Lake Express high-speed ferry left the Milwaukee terminal for its first trip of the year on Friday, May 3.
The ferry will have four daily crossings between Milwaukee and Muskegon, Mich. until late June when evening trips will be added to the agenda, bring the total number of daily trips to six.
The morning departure of the high-speed ferry is only the first departure of the day. It will arrive back in Milwaukee on Friday just before noon, before leaving again at around 12:30 p.m.
