Lake Geneva Ice Castles close for the season

LAKE GENEVA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- After a good run in 2021, the Lake Geneva Ice Castles are closing. This, after Wisconsin has seen unseasonably warm temperatures the past week.

Ice artisans started growing and harvesting the icicles for the display back in December.

Opening in January, guests were able to enjoy glowing ice art featuring slides, fountains, caves and tunnels.

"Thank you for a magical winter," the website reads.
