Lakefront Brewery revives Hop Houses on Milwaukee's RiverWalk

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's RiverWalk is set to see the return of Lakefront Brewery's Hop Houses, offering a unique dining experience in renovated private spaces, regardless of the weather outside.

The brewery has reintroduced these popular attractions, originally conceived during the pandemic as greenhouses. Each Hop House provides a secluded setting for diners, which Lakefront describes as featuring comfortable seating, tasteful décor and heaters, which they hope will provide a cozy atmosphere even during Milwaukee's cold winter nights.

The concept behind the Hop Houses stems from the need for safe and private dining areas during the pandemic.

Patrons interested in the Hop House experience can expect a streamlined reservation process. Each booking, lasting 90 minutes, offers access to an exclusive pre-order menu crafted by Executive Chef Kristin Hueneke. The menu includes new selections for this season, alongside full access to the brewery's extensive dining and drink options via QR code.

Reservations for the Hop Houses, accommodating either six or eight people, are currently available. Slots can be booked via Lakefront Brewery's website. The brewery offers reservations every day, with walk-up availability subject to current bookings.
