OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The peregrine falcon chick named after CBS 58's sports director showed off some of his developing flying skills...by taking an unexpected leave from the nest. 

WE Energies says that Lance Talon took a fall from the ledge Friday morning, June 26, after he was startled awake. As seen in the video below. 

Well, every pro-athlete has their beginnings! 

Lance Talon is fine and an employee was able to place on the roof of the power plant where his parents will take care of him until he is ready to properly leave the nest.
