MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Froedtert & MCW Inclusion Health Clinic aims to offer comprehensive medical care tailored to the LGBTQ+ community. The clinic provides primary and preventive care, addressing the unique health needs of LGBTQ+ individuals and their families.
Dr. Camdin Gray, a Family Medicine physician at the clinic, joined us on Wednesday, June 19 to discuss the clinic.
Gray noted that it operates from two locations: the Sargeant Health Center and the Specialty Clinics on the Froedtert Hospital campus, adding that the clinic is particularly helpful because LGBTQ+ individuals often face disparities in physical and behavioral health, lack of insurance and delayed care due to stigma and discrimination.
The clinic’s services include primary care, gynecology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, dermatology, psychiatry, OB/GYN care, HIV specialty care and prevention services.
