The first-ever Festival of Flowers is coming to Milwaukee 🌺
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- In baseball, and for Cole Kluesner, some of the most important things happen at home.
The artist, born-and-raised in Franklin, is a lifelong fan of the Milwaukee Brewers.
“I’ve been around baseball my whole life," Kluesner said. “It’s just one of those things; you grew up listening to it in the garage.”
When officials with the Brewers reached out to him to make their poster for the home opener, Kluesner said he knew he had to step up to the plate.
“It was for sure nerve wracking," Kluesner said. “I obviously was hoping they could come up with something that they really liked and enjoyed.”
The poster includes Jackson Chourio, William Contreras and Christian Yelich. Kluesner is also working on a personal piece that's a portrait of Bob Uecker.
“This would be my own way of paying tribute to Uecker," Kluesner said.
The Milwaukee Brewers take on the Kansas City Royals on Monday, March 31, at 1:10 p.m.
Kluesner says he will be at the game on Sunday signing posters for the first 75 season ticketholders.
